Tzu Chi Primary Curriculum
 

Tzu Chi Primary School is an SPK (Satuan Pendidikan Kerjasama) school which implements the National Curriculum enriched with the Cambridge Primary framework and Tzu Chi Humanistic Education.

Cambridge Primary provides a broad and balanced education for learners, helping them to become confident, responsible, reflective, innovative and engaged. In Tzu Chi Primary School, we aim for students to develop competencies in various subjects, such as Bahasa Indonesia, English, Chinese, Mathematics, Science, Sports/ Physical Education, Arts, Information Technology, and Music. All of these subjects are integrated with Humanistic Education. We are also a trilingual school where students learn three (3) languages - English, Chinese and Bahasa Indonesia not only as a lesson but also as a medium of instruction.  At the end of Primary 6, students will take the following examinations:

• Cambridge Primary Checkpoint: Mathematics, English and Science
• 3 Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi (HSK) Level 3: a standardized test for Chinese Language proficiency 

The test is normally taken in Primary 5.
