MYP Personal Project Exhibition

The anticipation was thick in the air on 26-27 March 2024, as Tzu Chi students, teachers, and parents gathered for the long-awaited Grade 10 IB MYP Personal Project Exhibition. The climax of six months of perseverance and determination was finally on display for everyone to see and admire. During the exhibition, visitors moved across booths and were introduced to projects by the students, allowing them to marvel at the results of the 10th graders’ hard work.

The exhibition, which showcased projects ranging from personal expressions such as dress designing and aquatic art pieces to creating solutions for real-world problems, served as a testimony to the diverse interest points together with the talents of the Grade 10 students. Other projects including environmental awareness videos, digital animations, as well as inclusive vegetarian food recipes, all exemplified the same amount of commitment and excellence.

It was evident that the successful Personal Project journey of this year’s batch was made possible through the Grade 10 students’ efforts as well as the invaluable guidance and encouragement of their supervisors and the unwavering commitment and expertise of the Personal Project Coordinator, Ms. Ien, who supported the students every step of the way.

As the exhibition concluded, a sense of joy and accomplishment was undoubtedly present among the students. Not only had they successfully reached the end of the Personal Project road, but they had also proven their willingness to overcome unfamiliar situations and challenges. The Personal Project exhibition was surely a notable milestone for the 10th graders to look back to, even in future years.
